PicTimer for Autism 2.0

This application introduces a picture card display feature to a basic timer, aimed at supporting children with autism and other special needs in understanding the concept of time.

The interface provides a clear visual representation of the remaining time, complemented by the simultaneous display of related picture cards, enhancing comprehension through visual cues.

The duration can be set by tapping on the pie chart section, allowing intuitive adjustment. Once the timer is started by lifting your finger, it begins a countdown from the selected time.

A lock function is available via the lock icon on the screen, intended for use with children to prevent accidental adjustments during operation.

Additional customization options include changing the timer’s color scheme, positioning the descriptive title either above or below the picture card, and configuring messages to be shown upon timer completion.

The application supports setting advance notification alarms before the designated time, with options for electronic sounds or custom audio recordings and synthesized voices for alerts.

It is recommended that picture card data be prepared separately, utilizing images from a photo library or camera, which can then be assigned as visual cues within the application.
